LEVEL ONE
(FOAL-PROBATIONARY LEVEL)
-5 Hours of basic volunteer work; cleaning the office, scrubbing buckets, cleaning tack and brushes and so on.

-One Hour of Horse Safety Training
-Refer Sunrise to one potential volunteer
LEVEL TWO
(Weanling–Beginner)
-5 Hours of grooming and tacking
-5 Hours working with assigned horse on grooming, leading and basic groundwork skills
-Two Hours of Sidewalking Training
-Refer Sunrise to two potential volunteers (total)
LEVEL THREE
(YEARLING- ADVANCED BEGINNER)
-5 Hours of Sidewalking
-10 (total) Hours of working with assigned horse on basic groundwork skills
-Two Hours of Leading Training
-Pass instructor’s Sidewalking competency test (following PATH standards)
-Refer Sunrise to three potential volunteers (total)
LEVEL FOUR
(Prospect- Intermediate)
-5 Hours of Leading
-15 (total) Hours of working with assigned horse on basic groundwork skills
-5 Hours of working with horse on advanced groundwork skills (lunging, working over obstacles and so on)
– 5 Hours of basic riding lessons
-Pass instructor’s Leading competency test (following PATH standards)
-Refer Sunrise to five potential volunteers (total)
-Assist in one event
LEVEL FIVE
(LESSON HORSE- ADVANCED)
– 20 (total) Hours Leading and/or Sidwalking
-30 (total) Hours working with assigned horse on basic and advanced groundwork skills
-10 (total) hours of basic riding lessons
-5 Hours of advanced riding lessons
-1 Trail Ride
-Pass head groom’s riding competency test
-Refer Sunrise to ten potential volunteers (total)
-Assist in two events (total)
LEVEL SIX
(Show Horse- Pro)
-40 (total) Hours of Leading and/or Sidewalking
– 50 (total) Hours of working with assigned horse on groundwork and riding
-10 (total) Hours of advanced riding lessons
-5 Trail Rides
-Refer Sunrise to fifteen potential volunteers (total)
-Assist in five events (total)
